CHICOPEE, MA, Sept. 12, 2007 - Elms College sophomore midfielders Brian Murca (Chicopee, MA) and T.J. Nevue (Ware, MA) each netted their first goals of the year, but Norwich University freshman forward Ryan Boyton Dunedin (Dunedin, FL) tallied twice, including the game-winner 2:34 into the second overtime to lift the visiting Cadets to a 3-2 win over the Blazers in Wednesday afternoon's non-conference men's soccer game at Leary Field.

Norwich won its second straight game and improved to 3-1 overall, while Elms College fell to 0-3.

With the game tied at 2-2 in the second overtime, Elms College junior goalkeeper Nick Pellegrini (Ludlow, MA) made a beautiful diving stop off junior midfielder Drew Dilley's (Columbia, PA) shot inside the penalty area, but Boyton collected the rebound and deposited a shot into a wide-open net for the game-winner.

Murca gave the Blazers a quick 1-0 lead when he blasted a direct kick past Norwich senior goalkeeper Jake Pagragan (Richland, IN) from the top of the 18-yard box.

The Cadets tallied the equalizer in the 52nd minute when Boyton redirected a cross from junior forward Rob Harlow (West Springfield, MA) past Pellegrini.

Harlow then scored his team-leading fourth goal in four games in the 63rd minute to give Norwich a 2-1 lead.

Nevue then answered for the Blazers in the 82nd minute when he collected a long-ball from sophomore defender Jon D'Amours (Chicopee, MA), beat two Norwich defenders and blasted a shot past Pagragan inside the near post to knot the game at 2-2.

Pellegrini was sensational for the Blazers, as he finished with 13 saves, including several diving stops.

Pagragan made one save to earn his third win of the year for the Cadets, who held decisive advantages in both shots (28-10) and corner kicks (9-2).

Elms College returns to non-conference play on Saturday, September 15 at Fitchburg State. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
