    Angelica Peguero-Flores (Springfield, MA) scored 27 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead the Elms College women's basketball team past the MCLA Trailblazers 63-57 in non-league action inside the Amsler Campus Center. The Blazers improve to 2-5 on the season.

    The Elms College women’s basketball team lost 64-58 to the visiting Johnson and Wales Wildcats last Tuesday. The Blazers erased a 10 point halftime deficit and pushed to game to extra time before falling short. The loss puts Elms at (1-6) on the season.

    The Elms College women’s basketball team opened up New England Collegiate Conference play on Saturday afternoon at Picknelly Arena with a win, defeating the visiting Lesley Linx 90-24. With the win the Blazers improve to (1-4) overall and (1-0) in NECC play.
