Elms Athletic Department Names Flynn Head Golf Coach
CHICOPEE, Mass. - Elms College Athletic Director Rob Southall announced this afternoon that Declan Flynn '25 will be the College's new Head Golf Coach.
"The athletic department is excited to announce the hiring of Declan Flynn," said Southall. "Declan's understanding of the program, gained during his time as a student-athlete along with his perspective and passion will inspire the current team. We are looking forward to watching him grow the golf program".
When asked about returning to Elms, Flynn said that "it is an incredible honor to return to my alma mater as head golf coach. This program shaped me as a student-athlete, and aspiring coach, and I'm excited to give back to the team and college that gave me so much. I look forward to building on our tradition of excellence and helping our student-athletes grow both on and off the course".
During his time as a member of the golf team, Flynn would earn GNAC Academic All-Conference honors twice and be inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society.
The Hingham, Mass. native is a 2025 graduate of Elms where he received his bachelor's degree in Marketing.
