Chicopee, MA – The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team led from start to finish in their game against Mitchell College on a beautiful Saturday morning. The Blazers were dominate in the 20-5 conference victory.
The Blazer got off to a quick start with goals from Erienne Dowe (Somers, CT) and Haley Richard (Monson, MA) in the first two minutes of the contest. The Mariners would answer to make it a one goal game 2-1. Elms would then kick it into high gear and score 10 consecutive goals and eventually take a 13-2 lead in to the half.
The second half saw Mitchell come out with energy and score the first two goals of the half. Elms would answer back with six straight goals of their own and go on to take the win 20-5.
Emily Hubber (Jefferson, ME) would make six saves in the win.
The Blazers are back on the field on Monday night when they host Western New England University at 7 P.M. in non-conference action.
