Last Meeting:
Elms College defeated Mount Ida, 4-2 on Oct. 4, 2006 in the last meeting between the teams.

Setting The Scene: Elms enters Thursday night's contest with Mount Ida looking to rebound from a heartbreaking 2-1 double overtime loss to Clark University on Sunday, Sept. 5. Junior forward Jen Killion's (Cambridge, Mass.) equalizer in the 89th minute of regulation forced an extra period while junior goalkeeper Kelly Callahan's (Monson, Mass.) three saves in the first period of overtime forced a second stanza of extra time before Clark scored the game-winner.

Scouting The Mustangs: Mount Ida takes the field, Thursday, fresh off a 0-0 tie with Lesley University, on Sunday, Sept. 5. The Mustangs are 1-0-1 on the season thanks to a 3-0 win over Bay Path College on Sept. 1. Heather Harrington (Bedford, N.H.) scored twice, once off a corner kick by Tracy Koukol (North Attleboro, Mass.) and again on a cross inside the six-yard box from Rebecca Tisbert (Cambridge, Mass.). Tisbert later found Michelle Alessi (Salem, Mass.) who scored Mount Ida's final goal of the  contest.

Saving The Day: Callahan entered last Sunday's contest against Clark following a 13-save effort against Western New England College (WNEC) on Sept. 1 in a 4-0 loss. After falling behind early to the Cougars, Callahan kept the Blazers' deficit at 1-0, stopping nine shots in second half of regulation, including a sensational defensive play on Clark's Lucia Pantuosco (Somers, Conn.) who had a breakaway scoring opportunity. Callahan forced the striker to take a wide angle which resulted in a wide shot and kept Elms in the contest. Callahan finished with 18 saves on the day. For her efforts, Callahan was named NECC Player of the Week.
