Baseball Hosts Successful Alumni Game
HOLYOKE, Mass. - The current Elms College baseball team defeated the alumni 7-3 in Saturday afternoon's nine inning alumni game at MacKenzie Stadium in Holyoke, Mass.
All nine of Elms' current pitchers combined to hold the alumni to three runs on three hits while junior Andrew Kravontka (Manchester, Conn.) delivered a hit and drove in two runs to highlight the Blazers' offense that scored seven runs on nine hits.
The alumni received stellar outings from former players Scott Netkovick who cracked a double, Brian Marrero who contributed an RBI single, and pitcher James Kosiorek who kept Elms' offense off balance for four innings.
