Diaz Named to D3Baseball.com All-Region Second Team
CHICOPEE, Mass. - D3Baseball.com announced their 14th annual All-Region teams for the 2026 baseball season Tuesday morning. Over 1,000 student-athletes were nominated to represent their institutions in the ten competing regions.

One Blazer would earn conference weekly accolades this week for their accomplishments on the field.
Sophomore pitcher/infielder Brycen Diaz (Andrews, Texas) would earn Second Team All-Region in Region 1 as a utility player. Diaz would be one of the 16 student-athletes selected representing the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). During the 2026 season for the Blazers, Diaz would record 34 hits, with 15 doubles and three home runs, 23 runs scored, and 27 runs batted-in in 122 at-bats, while earning 11 walks and a stolen base, with a batting average of .279, an on-base percentage of .363, and a slugging percentage of .475. On the mound, Diaz would make nine appearances, with five starts, winning four games, 38.2 innings pitched, 47 strikeouts, allowing 13 runs, and 21 hits, with a 1.63 earned run average, a 1.03 whip, and a 10.94 k/9, while also pitching a no-hitter against Norwich University, breaking a program record for strikeouts in a game. Diaz would also be named to the 2026 GNAC All-Conference Second Team and GNAC All-Tournament Team.
