Newman Selected GNAC Goalie of the Week
Nora Newman, Elms (Senior, GK - Woburn, MA) - Newman made 28 saves and allowed just four goals for a .875 save percentage in a 1-1 week for the Blazers. Prior to stopping 11 of 15 shots in a GNAC loss at JWU, she turned away all 17 shots she faced in a 1-0 shutout over Westfield State earlier in the week.
Newman and her fellow Blazers will be back in action on Wednesday 10/6 at 7PM when they travel to Union College in non-conference action. You can find the livestream and live stats at ecblazers.com.
