Women's Soccer Hosts Youth Clinic for Holyoke Youth Soccer
HOLYOKE, Mass. - The Elms College Women's Soccer team hosted a youth clinic for the Holyoke Youth Soccer League at the Roberts Field Sports Complex at Holyoke High School Sunday morning.
During the clinic members of the HYSL worked with players on the Elms roster, as well as Coach Sean Milbier, on drills to improve their soccer skills. The HYSL players and Blazers were also joined by a special guest, Boomer, the mascot of the Springfield Thunderbirds, American Hockey League affiliate of the St. Louis Blues.
When asked about today's activities, Coach Milbier said that "a big part of being a student-athlete at Elms is being active in the community. Taking part in today's Holyoke Youth Soccer clinic was a great way to give back".
