STANDISH, Maine - The Elms College Field Hockey team traveled to Saint Joseph's College of Maine in a conference game on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Joseph's would put offensive pressure on the Elms defense early, taking two shots in the opening two minutes, with one finding the back of the net. Senior goaltender Kaitlyn Lynes (South Hadley, Mass.) would make 15 saves in the first and second quarters, but the Monks would score three more goals and have a 4-0 lead going into the halftime break.
SJC would continue to control the game offensively, Lynes would make two more saves, but the Monks would add four more goals and defeat the Blazers 8-0.
